The update added 34 items and reworded 238 descriptions, alongside 153 benefit-type changes, 43 subgroup changes, 15 new schedule-fee start dates and 1 claim-limit change. The schedule reached 6,039 items.
6,039 items, up from 6,005: 34 items were added and none were removed.
Thirty-four. The page lists them by number: 373 to 382, 390, 391, 2484 to 2495, 18355, 38620 and 82250 to 82257, without a description for each.
Item 38511 (coronary artery bypass) previously had no claim limit; from 1 March 2026 it is applicable only once in conjunction with each associated service, alongside item 38502.
The update set new schedule-fee start dates on 15 items. As a representative example, item 42863 (eyelid recession) rose from $882.45 to $903.65, with its 12-monthly frequency limit removed.
